(FOUR) JUDY GREER
She’s become one of my favorite female character actors. She was hilarious on Arrested Development as Sr’ secretary. She was alluring and sexy in her smaller recurring role on Californication. She had a good small part in Love and Other Drugs. She’s out there and pops up all the time. She had a show on ABC that didn’t get a chance to breathe, but never really a full on opportunity to carry a movie. She has it in her. It would be cool to see it happen soon.
(THREE) JENA MALONE
In 1996 she was in a movie called “Bastard Out of Carolina” and got a Independent Spirit Award Nomination for Best Debut. Since then she has rocked the independent film world. She has done some smaller roles on TV at start and has been in some great movies. She was great as Gretchen in Donnie Darko, she did awesome in Saved!, and just about everything I’ve seen her in. She seems to do mainly indie movies, which is cool with me. She was fun in The Go-Getter, Into the Wild, and The Messenger. She’s one of those actresses that you know will always have a job because she’s just that awesome and goes for weird movies. She’s never played a princess, but she’s quickly becoming the new queen of the indies. Sucker Punch may change that though…
(TWO) DAX SHEPARD
It’s funny how the dude from Punk’d is already a better actor than Ashton Kutcher. He was funny enough in “Without a Paddle” and I’ve seen him in some random stuff. In “Lets Go To Jail”, he’s great. Then in “Idiocrasy” he is great too. But that’s just comedy. If you get past the past that it’s a family drama on network TV, he’s pretty damn remarkable on Parenthood. It’s just he’s not getting that many roles yet. Slowly and surely he’s getting to spread his horizons and show off his chops. He’s going to be do some great stuff soon. Remember this when you’re thinking “wow! This Dax dude is awesome!”
(ONE) BEN FOSTER
I think most people already agree with me. Ben Foster is awesome and crazy underrated. It’s weird that so many people know he’s underrated but he still doesn’t seem to get many big big parts to really showcase his awesomeness. I really think he should have gotten the role of Freddy in the update of Elm Street. He’s getting an Oscar. It’s only a matter of how soon someone wants to give him a role he can destroy.
