(FOUR) THE PSP2
Look, another video game that people will pay $500 on. Remember how awesome the PSP was when it first came out? Yeah, me neither. It’s a cell phone that doesn’t call out. I’m pretty sure it’s going to have to be able to destroy the iphone and the PS3 at the same time to be worth it. It’s just a “better” version of the original PSP. So basically, it’s going to be worthless… but you MUST get one! MUST!
(THREE) NEW KID COMES CLEAN
I seriously thought it was his brother after reading the headlines. Either way, it’s the most ill relevant news item I’ve heard in a long time. For those who didn’t know and are so interested in it… Jonathan Knight confirmed he is a homosexual this month. In other news, John Madden loves football.
(TWO) THE OFFICE TALK
First word leaks that Michael Scott will be leaving sooner than expected. Then we hear Ricky Gervais is going to show up. Then we hear Will Ferrell is going to show up not once, not twice, not thrice, but frice! That’s right Will Ferrell will be on the office for FOUR episodes. Great news. The show keeps getting more and more “buzz”.
(ONE) OSCAR NOMINATIONS
That’s a big one. The Oscar nominations were announced in January. We see The Social Network and The King’s Speech get most of the nods. I’ve seen most of the movies nominated and it’s been a pretty solid year in cinema. We got “The Social Network”, “Black Swan”, “Inception”, “The Town”, “The Fighter”, “The Kids Are All Right”, and more. Comedies were weak sauce in 2010, but overall, no complaints. I look for Social Network to clean house.
