(FOUR) LOVE LIFE
Yeah, I know… who cares? I just find it worth noting. He was married four times and mainly to actresses. I had no idea that he and Uma Thurman were married for two years. Seriously, no idea! He had a few kids as well. He has had his problems, but has managed to keep his life pretty private for the most part. Good for him.
(THREE) GAMER
I had no idea that he did so much voice work for video games. His first gig was in 98 for The Fifth Element movie game, then Medal of Honor:Allied Assault AND True Crime: Streets of LA in 2003, he rocked the “Ingitus” in the Spryo games, and even Call of Duty in 2008 and 2010. No matter the size of success he has, he still keeps taking these voice gigs. I wonder if he’s a gamer.
(TWO) THE DEVIL
He does have a cult following, but I’m pretty sure he’s not into the occult. He did however play the devil on more than one occasion. In 1993 he played the Devil in the Guns N’ Roses video for “Since I Don’t Have You” and then in 2002 for a BMW short called “Beat The Devil” with Marilyn Manson, James Brown, and Clive Owen. Yeah, he’s evil.
(ONE) CHA-CHING!
Gary Oldman is money. Movies featuring Oldman has made over SIX BILLION DOLLARS worldwide. Hell, 2.5 of that is from the United States! But let’s be fair and honest. A very nice chunk of that has to be from Harry Potter and Batman, but his filmography is seriously one of the coolest in film history. He did a slew of TV movies, but moved on to JFK, Dracula, True Romance, Dasquiat, The Fifth Element, and other coolness.
