"4 For Dinner V4: Living SNL Alumni"

(FOUR) BILL MURRAY
If you’re a fan of SNL and don’t like Bill Murray then you’re a douche. Hell, if you enjoy comedy on the slightest level and don’t absolutely adore and love Bill Murray then you’re a douche. The movies, the humor, and the way he handles himself makes him one of the most respected people in film and entertainment, but there’s just some weird natural charm about the guy that makes him the coolest man ever. I’d love to hear about his old SNL days, Ghostbusters, Lost in Translation, Where the Buffalo Roam, Caddyshack, Ed Wood, and pretty much anything.

(THREE) EDDIE MURPHY
I’d love to get his thoughts on SNL being that he was there at a completely weird time. It was the first “Post original” era and he dominated the show. Seriously, for a few years the entire show was on this man’s back. He put out Gumby, Mr. Robinson’s Neighborhood, and a few other awesome characters. He left SNL and then made Beverly Hills Cop, Coming to America, Harlem Nights, and Trading Places. He made some great all time comedies, but then he went the easy pay check route with all the kid movies. I’d love to hear his thoughts on the movies he’s made over the past ten or so years. Then the idea of seeing Eddie with Bill Murray and the next guy would blow a funny gasket.

(TWO) WILL FERRELL
If you bring up SNL to pretty much anyone these days before you know it Will Ferrell will be mentioned. Everyone argues what era was best. Surely it was the first, but over the years there have been stand out performers that people automatically associate with the show. One of those people in Will Ferrell. He owned SNL in the 90’s. There is sooooo much material from the man that I could go on and on for hours just about the SNL side of his career. Then the movies like Anchorman, Elf, and the like? Yeah… he’s pretty amazing. I can’t think of many list of mine that I wouldn’t try to sneak Will Ferrell on. Well, I mean… nothing sexual or anything.

(ONE) LORNE MICHAELS
Why would I sit down with SNL alumni and not invite the boss. Lorne Michaels is responsible for some of the funniest moments in my life time. He crafted and groomed SNL into being an American television institution. He gives a late night weekend comedy show so much class and respect it’s almost unfathomable when you think about it. No one is home on Saturday nights. No one wants to watch network TV when they can watch cable or get on the internet. Through ups and downs and all the changes in life and lifestyle, it’s awesome that SNL has stuck around. Talking to Lorne would provide a glimpse of his genius and I’d absorb every single second I’d have with the man.
