(FOUR) E=MC2
Albert. Albert Einstein, the genius one who everyone knows and loves was born in 1879 and died in 1955. In what one would assume was a cross between tribute and sadistic humor, Mr. and Mrs. Einstein had a baby and named him Albert… in 1947. He would go on to use the stage name of Albert Brooks. No relation to Mel.
(THREE) PERFORMING FAMILY
Those Einstein’s sure like entertaining people. His dad was a radio comedian and his mother a singer and actress. His brother, Bob Einstein is also famous. He’s better known as “Super Dave Osborne”, believe it or not. He’s also married to an artist. I’m sure there are plenty more performers in that tree as well.
(TWO) NOT SO FUNNY
This guy is one of the most acclaimed comedians, writers, and funny people in modern times. Do you know what his first movie role was? Taxi Driver! He’s not always done pure comedy. Sure there’s a humorous snark to some of his characters, but he has the chops. Hell, he was nominated for an Oscar for his support work in Broadcast News. I’m sort of surprised he hasn’t taken more chances in the acting department.
(ONE) HANK SCORPIO
Albert Brooks has done some awesome voice work in cartoons. He has appeared as a guest on The Simpsons around a half dozen times including The Simpsons Movie and the legendary “Hank Scorpio” episode. On top of that he’s also done Dr. Dolittle and Finding Nemo, but who cares about those? Hank FN’ Scorpio!
