(FOUR) POKER PLAYER
Ray Romano has shown up on those Celebrity Poker shows and has done well. He has made it much known about his love for the card game. He’s so into it that he played in the World Series of Poker every year since 2007. He even made his character on “Men of a Certain Age” have a gambling problem.
(THREE) ALWAYS A BARONE
He was on Everybody Loves Raymond for a long time. The show is in syndication non-stop and is a pretty good show. Romano played Raymond Barone for over 200 episodes. But the interesting thing is that he played the same character on multiple shows. He was one episode each for Cosby, The Nanny, and Becker. He even showed up in four episodes of King of Queens. Lots of CBS cross over right there. Yeeesh.
(TWO) AVID GOLFER
Like the poker stuff, he’s out there with it. I’ve seen him reference golf a trillion times. He starred in season two of a gold help show on The Gold Channel in 2010. Hell, like the gambling thing, he made his character on “Men of a Certain Age” a golfer too. I’m seeing a trend here.
(ONE) LOADED
He can afford to be a golfer and poker player. He is set for not only his life, but for like his grand kids life. In 2004 he became the highest paid TV actor in history. This would make sense because it was always revealed that the show made damn near FOUR BILLION DOLLARS. This was 2004. I’m pretty sure the syndication and DVD sales have done him well. The fact that he still shows up occasionally and still does anything is remarkable. I’d be swimming in my wealth like a cartoon duck if I were him.
