(FOUR) CONSISTENT
Heather Graham proves you don’t have to do super serious dramas to have a long career as an actress. At lot times, the actresses who teeter on the comedy/drama line end up going away after they get to a certain age. Graham has hung on by being consistent and always putting on a good performance in just about everything I’ve seen her in.

(THREE) CALIFORNIA CHEESEHEAD!
She’s a Cheesehead! She’s from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her mom is a school teacher and writer. Her dad is an FBI agent. Yikes. They’d end up moving to California. She went to the same high school as a few of the Linkin Park guys. She stayed down to earth working real jobs like at Toys R Us, at the Hollywood Bowl, etc. Her parents made her turn down the lead role in “Heathers” because of the language. I love that movie. I wonder if it was a slight revenge when Boogy Nights came around? Hmmm.

(TWO) CAUSES
She’s a public advocate for the charity Children International. She supports a child in the Philippines and does what she can to help the cause. Along with this, she is an ambassador for “Global Cool”. This is a campaign about the climate change and how to battle global warming. It’s amazing she finds time for this stuff.

(ONE) PAID DUES
She got her acting feet wet in High School plays and then went on to UCLA to study English. She started getting a few roles and got bit by the acting bug so she dropped out and moved to Hollywood to chase her dreams. She worked different jobs and did what she had to do to make ends meet while still busting ass to get acting work. The first time I remember seeing her was in the very underrated and underappreciated “Corey movie” in “License to Drive”. From there it’s been a tailspin of awesome. She gained fame and notoriety from “Drugstore Cowboy”, the TV show “Twin Peaks”, and of course she’d be cemented in movie history as “Rollergirl” in “Boogie Nights”. I can go on and on, but I’d be a jerk not to mention her in “Austin Powers” and “Bowfinger”. The first “Austin Powers” is still the best of the bunch before all the jokes got boring and repetitive. In “Bowfinger” she more than held her on with Steve Martin and Eddie Murphy, a feat not to be slept on. Then she stepped in on “The Hangover” and did a fine job as “Jade”. She wasn’t in the sequel, SADLY. She’s still busy though. She’s a workaholic!
