(FOUR) BUTTONS AND PINS
I miss this trend. It seems that once every half dozen years pins and buttons become an acceptable fashion statement. Logos, sayings, and weird images on little buttons rule. I used to wear one or two on my jackets and had them all over my book bag. Then I didn’t see anyone with them. Then a few years later, I see them everywhere. Then nowhere. Let’s just agree. Buttons and pins are cool and they should never go away again. Deal? Deal!

(THREE) THE ENERGIZER BUNNY
I really thought this little pink bunny was going to keep “going and going and going”. Ya know, I’d like to think to myself that somewhere out there the little drummer bunny is still going with a happy pink wife going next to him and little happy pink baby bunnies not too far behind. I never really thought about it, but what the hell was going on here. Energizer batteries have nothing to do with pink bunnies with black sunglasses that play the continuously plays the drums. I get it! It’s an 80’s character because in the 80’s everyone did coke and wore shades. Why pink though? Did this EVER get explained?

(TWO) PLAY-DOH
I looked this up. Play-Doh has been around since 1956! That’s pretty damn old. Imagine if some Play-Doh was left out in 1956. Imagine how hard that would be now! I’m fairly certain this hardened clay could pierce any bullet proof glass, shield, or vest. Play-Doh is just THAT bad ass. It’s a colorful and reusable clay product for kids. How could you NOT like it? Even for those who couldn’t sculpt a masterpiece they could make cool shapes. Once they started making Play-Doh accessories it was all over. This toy is up there with the Slinky. It’s timeless and something I hope sticks around for kids to play with in the future.

(ONE) PRE-HOGAN WCW
WCW was never as good as the WWF, but it was still a quality product. I would call myself a life-long WWF loyalist, but when they weren’t on TV I would watch WCW without any hesitation. I loved the old WCW Saturday Night show and the other early morning shows on TBS. The storylines were simple, the matches told stories, and despite the cheesiness of some of the gimmicks and stunts it was fun times. Then Hogan came in and it became a watered down WWF for a few years until nWo came around. That stuff was cool too, but it lacked that purity of the old days. I still stand by the fact that my favorite tag team of all time was Harlem Heat. I still loved me some Sting, Vader was a monster, Flair was king, Muta was amazing, Pillman and Austin were innovative, and the shows were good ol’ rasslin.
