(FOUR) STILL ALIVE
Remember Katie Holmes? You know... the really cute actress from that teen drama that married Tom Cruise. Katie Holmes is still out there. People forget that she’s only 32 and judging from her past roles, she knows what she’s doing and having fun with it.
(THREE) ROOTS
She’s from Toledo, Ohio and had a pretty normal upbringing. In school she did musicals and had a love for acting, but also academics as apparent in her 1310 SAT scores that lead her to Columbia for a short summer stint.
(TWO) BIG BREAK
Her first big role was in “The Ice Storm” and it lead to her going to LA for pilot season. She landed the role in Dawson’s Creek and it blew her up even more. She was the only actor to appear in all 128 of the series’ episodes. From there she’s done a lot of movie work. She was in “Disturbing Behavior”, “Go”, “Teaching Mrs. Tingle”, “Batman Begins”, and a slew of other movies. She’s actually gone on record saying she thought “Disturbing Behavior” was “just horrible”. That’s a bit upsetting. The movie isn’t Shakespeare, but it’s good 90’s teen movie fun.
(ONE) MOTHER HOLMES
She’s still in the media as “Suri’s mother” and the occasional role in the occasional movie, but it’s painfully obvious that she’s going to eventually come out of her shell and unleash some milestone performances upon us. And if not, well… there’s always “Disturbing Behavior 2”… please?!
