(FOUR) YOUR HIGHNESS
In this movie Justin Theroux plays “Leezar”, an evil creepy sorcerer. The movie sorta sucked. I wanted to like it so badly, but it just felt really flat to me. That’s not Justin’s fault. He was a really fun sleazy wizard type. It felt like he was on the only one who saw Monty Python or Princess Bride before making this.
(THREE) AMERICAN PSYCHO
This movie is most likely in my Top 10 of all time. I’ll figure the specific ranking out later. The main deal here is that I love this movie. It’s a great flick and Bale’s best work. Theroux shows up as Timothy Bryce, a fellow snobby businessman. It’s a small role, but when you’ve watched the movie two hundred times it all stands out.
(TWO) SIX FEET UNDER
Six Feet Under is my favorite television series of all time. I have no problem saying that. I connected with it hardcore and nothing else has come close. Justin Theroux shows up a few seasons in as a new love interest for Brenda. As “Joe”, he played music and seemed like the most down to earth and coolest guy ever. He was screwed over in the end, but his character served its purpose nicely. The dude had charm oozing out of his ears in this.
(ONE) THE BAXTER
This movie is so underrated. Justin Theroux has a role of playing “Bradley”. A super cool pretentious guy who comes around just in time to screw with the head of the main guy’s love interest. In most movies this type of character is the asshole, but here he’s awesome. He’s a likeable roadblock. He’s not hurting anyone too much and seems okay enough… but still we are forced to root against him. It’s a really weird balance of things. Seriously just go watch this Michael Showalter movie now. Seriously… go! Thank me later.
