(FOUR) "SECRET ADMIRER"
This episode is fun. Danny Tanner was dating this blonde woman. She was cool and all, but her son ended up being a big part of a couple episodes. This little asshole was named “Rusty”. He was a trouble maker and I assume ABC’s attempt at making a human version of “Bart Simpson”. In this one Rusty finds out that DJ likes the paperboy. In true “little hellraiser” mode, he writes a fake love letter as a prank. The letter bounces around from cast member to cast member who things someone else on the show has an undying love for them. It’s one of those really funny and well done “crazy miscommunication” episodes. At the end, the family all screams “RUUUSTY!” and chase after him. You know, because he was a “lil’ stinker”. Oh, the humanity. I kind of wish Rusty had stuck around.
(THREE) "CAPTAIN VIDEO (PART 1&2)"
There is a lot going on in this two part season finale. The most important part was the TV release of Jesse’s music video, “Forever”. It was a pretty awesome song to be fair. It’s not my cup of tea NOW, but at the time it could have and should have done well on the REAL charts. In these episodes Jesse gets his dream and is forced to go on tour. Meanwhile, DJ and Gibler are trying to go to Spain for school and Michelle learns how to cool and then wants an ant farm.
(TWO) "GREEK WEEK"
This episode was interesting for many reasons. It was the first time Mary Kate and Ashley acted opposite of each other as Michelle and her Greek cousin “Melina”. DJ and her cousin GET MARRIED. They joined arm in arm and walked around the table. Simple as that. Boom! Married! It was quite a dilemma, but in the end DJ would get divorced or walk backwards or whatever. Jesse also proposes to Becky. Awwww.
(ONE) "CUTTING IT CLOSE"
This episode is very pivotal to the evolution of mankind. Seriously. This is the day the mullet died. For the last couple of episodes in Season One of the show John Stamos actually wore a mullet wig because his character was obviously an idiot. In this episode Stephanie accidentally cuts a chunk of his hair off. He then goes to get it fixed and gets in a motorcycle accident. The accident part was hilariously sad, but the hair cut opened the doors for “cool guys” around the world. No longer did gentlemen require a “party in the back”. “Business up front” won this one. Thank you Stephanie Tanner… you did well.
