(FOUR) OVERDOSE
Nancy rarely EVER smokes weed on the show. It happens once or twice, but she was the dealer, not the smoker. The whole “high on your own supply” thing was never an issue with her. But what if after all of the drama she goes through, she smokes up and it’s laced or something. She then overdoses. It would be a pretty dramatic end for sure. Not my favorite idea at all, but it’s an option.
(THREE) CELIA TAKES OVER
I missed Elizabeth Perkins on the show. I’d love to see her come back and take down Nancy and her whole operation. She has been a constant thorn in everyone’s side and then bam! She’s gone. She pops back up and gets them busted or killed and takes the cash and heads out to start anew. I don’t want the character to succeed because she’s been such a bitch, but it’s an ending that I’d be comfortable with.
(TWO) CONRAD AND NANCY INTO THE SUNSET
Like Celia, Conrad disappeared and never came back. He at least got written off, but everyone always wanted him to come back into the picture. He was great addition to the cast and his character had a really unique relationship with Nancy that hasn’t been replaced. He’s one of the few “outside” people to intertwine into the Botwin family that had rapor and chemistry with everyone. He and Doug needed a road trip episode, dammit. Bring Conrad back and have him be the only guy to ever hook up with Nancy that survives.
(ONE) LITTLE BOX FUNERAL
Nancy is finally taken down. I’d imagine she’d finally step in have to put her life up to save her family. It would just be a poetic idea and takes you back to the main idea of the show. The idea of “a mom doing what she has to do to provide for her family” has evolved into a “a woman gets in over her head for no reason and puts her secondary concern, her family in risk”. I really hope it goes back to having more heart and less confrontational and less “zany woman being spontaneously dangerous”. I have faith. The ending would be Nancy’s coffin being lowered as the original theme of “Little Boxes” is played. I imagine them doing something like this, but my biggest fear is they have one final reveal that she’s not REALLY dead and she drives off as cocky as ever. Ugh.
