4 Random Dream Matches V.5

(FOUR) DOLPH ZIGGLER VS. ROB VAN DAM
Two of the most animated “sellers” I can remember. The way RVD would always bounce with his bumps and big moves always made things seem more devastating. Ziggler does the same thing, but with his own twist on it. These two also match up in the cool movie department. RVD had more of a grittier edge to him while Ziggler has that boastful school athlete thing going for him. Dolph Ziggler reminds me of the Alpha Betas from Revenge of the Nerds. I can’t imagine these two not tearing it up and putting on a good match.

(THREE) JOHN MORRISON VS. JUVENTUD GUERRERA
Juvi is always going to be known as one of the best WCW Cruiserweights from the late 90’s. Juvi was awesome. He had exciting matches, personality, and he stood out in the ring against some of the best cruisers of all time. It just never clicked and he never got his time on top. Morrison is a more recent version of this. Their backstories are obviously apples and oranges, but in comparison to talent and potential… yes. This match would be an awesome showcase of showoffs.

(TWO) THE MIZ VS. BRET HART
Sometimes it feels like I’m the only person who enjoys The Miz. In the first half of 2012 he hasn’t been in the spotlight or featured in the bigger roles as he was when he was champion. He has the skills and growth potential to be a long lasting star. He just needs a chance to run with a good storyline. Bret Hart is one of the best of all time. He’s a great technical wrestler and a great babyface. The Miz is an okay wrestler, who is improving, who would work very nicely with a Hart. The promos and build would be the fun part. Come to think of it, The Miz would have been PERFECT in 1995 WWE. This match could have headlined PPVs for sure.

(ONE) TAJIRI VS. AUSTIN ARIES
Tajiri was one of the most innovative forces in American wrestling for awhile. He was one of the first to make snap kicks cool out here. Now EVERYONE does it. Even Tajiri’s pant style was ripped off so much that people started just calling them “Tajiri pants”. Tajiri could have been a modern day Muta, but they never gave him a shot. I think mainly because of his smaller size. Austin Aries had that problem too. Aries is also one of those guys who is innovating and making indie wrestlers change their shit up. Aries vs. Tajiri would be amazing.
