(FOUR) ROOTS
Cranston has entertainment in his blood. His father was an actor and producer as his mom was a radio actress. He’d spend time living on a farm and it sounds like a normal upbringing. He went on to get an associates in police science at Los Angeles Valley College. He did some performance as a kid, but his parents didn’t push their profession on him.
(THREE) EARLY YEARS
Bryan was on a lot of TV shows back in the day. He had commercial work for Lays, Excedrine, Honda, and Coffee-Mate. He did anime dubs for English translations. He showed up on a soap opera or two. He just bounced around for a while. I remember seeing him on an old episode of Murder She Wrote. He also showed up on CHiPs, One Life to Live, Matlock, Jake the Fatman, LA Law, Walker Texas Ranger, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, X-Files, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, 3rd Rock from the Sun, and more! Outside of his two biggest TV roles, his best known role had to be “Tim Whatley” on Seinfeld.
(TWO) MOVIE STAR!
Bryan Cranston has in a lot of movies, but it’s mainly been smaller supporting roles. He was in That Thing You Do!, Saving Private Ryan, and Little Miss Sunshine. In more recent years he was in The Lincoln Lawyer, Drive, Larry Crowne, Contagion, John Carter, Red Tails, Rock of Ages, and Total Recall. The dude stays really busy. Why not let him star in one of these bad boys?
(ONE) BREAKING MALCOLM
Bryan Cranston’s biggest two roles. In 2000 he landed the father role on Malcolm In The Middle. The show would last for around a decade. He directed episodes and received three Emmy nominations for his awesome performance. The problem is that I can’t watch this show anymore. What I’ve seen Cranston do as “Walter White” on Breaking Bad has left me scarred for life. Without putting one ounce of effort towards hyping it up, I can honestly say that it’s one of the best television shows of all time. He won three Emmy’s in a row and there is really no stopping him.
