(FOUR) “VIDEO GAME CHALLENGE”
It’s a known fact that a lot of the WWE performers are avid video game players. The WWE continues to push out their own video games as well. Why not a “Video Game Challenge” where WWE could utilize all of their old school titles? Let contestants play each other to advance and then in the end play an actual WWE superstar in the game. They could stick with WWE games or any games. I’m not even a “gamer”, but I’d watch a half hour of this every so often for sure.
(THREE) “HOT SEAT”
This one is simple. Fans send in questions and the performers answer them. To keep it fresh they could do themes any things like that. They could do it live with “call ins”, “video questions”, etc. They can have other wrestlers, celebrities, fans, and anyone ask the person on the “hot seat” questions. Wouldn’t it be interesting to see Miz ask Kofi Kingston a random question he never knew about him? It would be an interactive PG-friendly/kayfabe-friendly shoot interview show.
(TWO) “NOW AND THEN”
This could be a cool half hour or so show. It would basically show a wrestler’s evolution. It would cut back and forth between an old match and a new match comparing moves and the evolution of the character. This could also be done with some old and new promos mixed in. The main purpose would be to show the evolution of someone and their character arcs.
(ONE) “POINT A TO POINT B”
This would be REALLY cool. This show would follow a wrestler or performer leaving their home to go to a show. From there it follows the performer’s travels to the venue and the little interactions in between. It shows them at the building, shooting promos, eating food, talking to friends, calling home, doing charity, throw in a Wellness testing for shits and giggles, signing autographs, prepping in the ring before the show, or whatever they’d want. Then they go to the ring, we cut and then cut back to them coming back through the curtain. They’d have to sell a little, but then they’d go get back into street clothes, do anything else they do, go eat, and then travel home. One big round trip of character/personal insight. It sounds pretty intriguing to me.
