(FOUR) FROSTY MORNINGS
People hate scraping ice off their windows, but a nice frosty morning is really refreshing. The grass and branches have that light glaze of ice on them. It all melts away before noon and isn’t much of a problem. It’s just that little bit of shock in the morning that’s great to get the blood flowing and the day started. You can hate it and be groggy when it happens, but it’s just one of those natural things that people take for granted.
(THREE) LEAVES CHANGING COLORS
There is just something about the changing of the foliage that’s beautiful. Seeing the leaves change colors is awesome. Even when the green leaves fade to yellow and eventually brown it’s cool. Then some leaves go into shades of red, purple, and all sorts of really nice looking colors. Who can hate on nature adding color to its palette? But it should be noted that I’m not saying falling leaves are good. Raking sucks.
(TWO) APPLES!
If you don’t like apples you’re a monster. Apples seem to always be around. You can get apple sauce or juice any time you want it. Apples are just better in the fall. You can go pick them yourself and eat them right off the tree. If you go to the right orchard you can have a field day of random different apples from red, green, and yellow. It’s all there! Apples!
(ONE) LIGHT JACKET WEATHER
I’ve always been fond of wearing layers. Maybe I just like all the extra pockets. I don’t know why. Either way, it’s time to bust out the light jackets. I’m not talking about a heavy winter coat, but just the nice and cozy light jacket. For some folks, it’s “hoodie season”, which is fine too. I just like the idea of having the option. If it’s cold, you have the jacket. If it’s hot, you can take if off and rock your late-summer stuff. Early spring is pretty solid for this too.
