(FOUR) ANTONIO CESARO VS. SHAWN MICHAELS
Cesaro is going to be a huge star in the WWE. He has a great career in the indies and so far he has been on a great role on TV. He’s already a US Champion and the sky is the limit. The reason is because he’s a bad ass. He looks so natural in the ring and his movements are fluid. He is a throwback to the old black and white wrestlers but with a modern twist. When you have “timeless talent” then you should be able to hang with the best of all time. I’d LOVE to see the athletism of HBK sell for Cesaro. Imagine a match with HBK’s skills, storytelling, and emotion with the natural ability and endless potential of Antonio Cesaro. This is what they mean by “wrestling clinic”.
(THREE) THE UNDERTAKER VS. SABU
I’ve always always always wanted to see this go full force. Imagine a mid-90’s Sabu. He was at his “peak” and wasn’t as banged up. He was doing things no one in the states had seen and had a aura to him that’s one of those “once in a lifetime” type of things. He was a crazy animal and no one could control him. He was cool, he was barbaric, and he would put his body on the line every time out there. Imagine this against a late 90’s “demonic” Undertaker. They would have murdered each other. The evil ministry Undertaker and Sabu in a Hell in a Cell Match would have blown the socks off the Mick Foley one.
(TWO) REY MYSTERIO VS. ANDRE THE GIANT
Everyone likes a well-built “David vs. Goliath” feud. Who better than the most extreme of both spectrums? Rey Mysterio is consistently known as one of the best “little men” to ever wrestle. He’s not my personal favorite, but everyone loves that guy. Imagine him going at it against the biggest giant of them all… Andre The Giant! The size difference would be huge and the story they could tell could be really interesting if done right. My brain hurts when I think of the idea of Rey Mysterio giving Andre The Giant a 619. Wow!
(ONE) STEVE CORINO VS. CHRIS JERICHO
I’d love to see this match. They’d tell a great story in the ring and I’m sure they’d complement each other’s styles very nicely. The main reason I’d want to see these two face off is because I’d be thrilled to see them go at it on the microphone. Both of these guys have to be two of the wittiest promo men of all time. They operate on a higher level and have brought more laughter, “mark out moments”, and memories than most. They just know what they’re doing. They can rally the troops, they can be the biggest dick, and they just own it. Jericho is most definitely more known and more respected, but I truly think Corino could be one of the only people to “out Jericho” Chris Jericho.
