(FOUR) JAY & SILENT BOB
Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes are still out there. Smith is stretched out through podcasting, doing his stand-up tour thing, the comic book show on AMC, and he’s still making another movie. Mewes is invested into pretty much the same stuff but also is getting more and more acting gigs. I’m supportive of both, but they’re just better together. “Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back” was a fun movie, but we never got that rumored “Bluntman and Chronic” movie or any of the other avenues they could have gone. I know they’re getting older, but let’s get another over the top movie before they get too old. Snooches?

(THREE) MICRO MACHINES
Micro Machines came out in 1986. They were toy cars that were shrunk down to a tiny little size. They had tons of different varieties and they were all really cool. I think the problem is that they were so small that they were easy to lose and easy to swallow. I was always a fan of the little Batmobile one from back then. There was a little set with a little bad ass Batmobile, a purple van for The Joker, and a little Batwing if I do remember correctly. I never had the cool playsets, but I don’t think anyone of value did. That’s my story.

(TWO) PRE-LIVE ACTION SCOOBY DOO
I grew up with some really cool Scooby Doo cartoons. These were the classics and were always great. Then even the “Scrappy Do” stuff wasn’t too bad. It was still in the spirit of the show. You just had to ignore the “Cousin Oliver” effect of Scrappy. Then they made those semi-recent live action movies where Freddie Prince Junior is in it. These movies, for whatever reason, were kind of really bad. I think this ruined Scooby Doo for an entire generation.

(ONE) DENNIS RODMAN’S ACTING
In the 90’s Dennis Rodman was all over the place. He was on the best team of all time, putting on great numbers and kicking ass. At the same time he was out partying and doing things that Lindsay Lohan would have nightmares about. He is easily one of the most interesting athlete-turned-celebrity stories of modern sports. One of the many things he got in on was acting! In 1997 he co-starred with Jean-Claude Van Damme in the classic film “Double Team”. From there he was in “Simon Sez”, “Cutaway”, and even on “3rd Rock from the Sun”. He should have never stopped! Hollywood needs Dennis Rodman.
