Top 4 Artists to Tour with Bowie

(FOUR) FAITH NO MORE
This “Top 4” is purely my own guilty pleasure wish list. With Bowie putting new music out there it’s only logical to be wishful of him getting back out on the road for some shows. I’d see him perform with Nickelback opening, but let’s talk about who I’d want to see. I want Faith No More. Mike Patton is a genius and him and Bowie need to have some encounters. I’d love to see what happens from that. Regardless, Faith No More did some Euro dates not too long ago but never really game the US fans their dose of reunion goodness. Faith No More opening up for David Bowie would be killer.

(THREE) JACK WHITE
Jack White and Dave Grohl are the current kings of rock music. Dave gets to hang out with Paul McCartney and tons of cool people and while Jack gets to work with icons, it’s not on a Sir Paul level. I think this would even it out fairly well. Jack White’s impact on modern rock is very evident. He marches to his own drummer and is respected by anyone with ears. Kind of like Bowie. The musical bliss a Jack White and David Bowie concert would cure diseases we don’t even know about yet.

(TWO) NINE INCH NAILS
Nine Inch Nails is my favorite band of all time. Basically, Trent Reznor, but if you know what’s up then you understand what I’m saying. I know Trent has toured with Bowie in the early 90’s. I have friends who got to see NIN and Bowie and I’m always jealous of that. Reznor and Bowie have worked together in the past and if Bowie is making music I see no reason why they can’t in the future. NIN recently “retired”, but now it’s going to be back. Bowie has been gone and is now coming back. Why not just have Bowie and NIN come back together? If you love Bowie then you’ll most likely love NIN and vice versa. Why not? Please…. Pretty please?

(ONE) PRINCE
This idea is just too awesome to let my brain dwell on. If I start to think about a David Bowie/Prince concert and my musical mouth starts to water. I’ve never seen Prince in concert and I’ve never seen Bowie. It would be too much to take in in one show. They’ve both had controversy about their sexuality, but both also put on great shows, have acted, and are two of the most respected musicians of all time. Many would say that no one is smoother and “sultry” as Prince. Well dude, meet Ziggy Stardust. Like I said, I don’t want to think about this too hard. But just imagine a Prince/Bowie duet of like a “Changes” or “Purple Rain”….. Sorry about blowing your mind!
