(FOUR) PAID HIS DUES
Kevin Hart isn’t an over-night sensation. He had a sketchy upbringing like most people. He took his struggles to heart and worked his ass off. He moved from Philly to New York to go to community college. He graduated and then moved to Boston. The whole time he was pursuing stand up. He tried it at an open mic in Philly and kept going at it. He was boo’d off stage, got into fights, and had a hard time. He kept at it and worked the scene. He slowly and surely got his act together and moved up the food chain.
(THREE) 5' 2"
The jokes aside, you’d think he was even shorter. He’s got a big personality, but all of the “little” jokes makes it seem like he’s under 5 foot. 5' 2" isn’t TOO short. It’s a bit shorter than average, but there are plenty of folks that height. I wouldn’t expect a 5' 2" dude to be in the NBA any time soon, but he’s the perfect height to be hilarious. So he’ll be okay…
(TWO) ALL-STAR
Kevin Hart is a huge sports fan. I’ve seen him in random crowds, but basketball seems to be his favorite. For a few years he participated in the NBA All Star Weekend. In 2012 he was named the MVP of the NBA Celebrity game despite being ejected in the fourth quarter for vulgarity aimed at the ref and throwing a shoe. Yep… Joe Jackson style.
(ONE) TOP GUY
Kevin Hart is one of the hottest comedians in the world right now. His “Laugh At My Pain” made over 15 million. He’s got hit albums, games on iTunes, tons of social media love, and at this point he can write his own ticket. He could easily get on a television series and run with it or he can keep taking all of the bigger and bigger movie roles he’s getting offered. He has about a million projects in various stages of production so this momentum is going nowhere.
