(FOUR) JOAN RIVERS
Joan Rivers is too racy for morning television, but it would still be fun. I know she’s always busy with her other show, projects, and stand up but this would be a lot of fun. She’d be a great replacement for the Joy spot on the show. She’s funny, quick, opinionated, and has lived through more drama than a full season worth of their guests.
(THREE) ADRIANNE CURRY
She has hosted random things and has done well with it. Her video podcasts were always fun and she’s always got a lot on her mind. She never steps down from her strong opinions and would bring a totally different point of view to the show. I’d love to see her in that kind of environment. I would bet on her being awesome at it. Bonus points for being a NIN fan.
(TWO) LISA LAMPANELLI
She’s too vulgar and would get in a lot of trouble on the show. At the same time, she’s a good person and is hilarious. Lisa would take the role of smart ass shit-stirrer perfectly. The controversy she’d cause would get the show a lot of attention and probably get people to tune in for the next verbal train wreck. I’d watch!
(ONE) TIG NOTARO
Tig should have her own talk show. Even before she got cancer, she was one of the best unheralded stand ups out there. She had little spots in random things, but nothing really big yet. I’ve heard her on tons of podcasts and she’s such a unique person. Her tone is laid back, but she’s amazingly hilarious. She’s smart, quick witted, and has lived through hell. Her input and take on things would be a breath of fresh air. She’s just one of the most likeable comedians I’ve heard in a long time. Seeing her on TV every morning would be pretty awesome.
