(FOUR) SHANE DOUGLAS vs. MARK HENRY
This match wouldn’t main event any WrestleMania’s, but it would be a great match none-the-less. I always thought Douglas worked great with bigger guys. His stuff with Bam Bam Bigelo was always good. I think that’s because Bam Bam had an old school style but was open to new things. That kind of style complimented Douglas’s old school/new school hybrid style nicely. I think Mark Henry is in the same boat but with even more intensity. In my head I put this match in a November to Remember setting that ends with them joining forces as a Triple Threat update.
(THREE) THE SHIELD vs. THE FREEBIRDS
This wouldn’t be that much of a match. The Freebirds would beat up The Shied for sure. I am a bigger Shield fan, but they’d look like children going against the ‘Birds. I think it would be an entertaining match because everyone involved seems to be creative . This is mainly because they’re a trio team. Freebirds win though. No doubt.
(TWO) KOFI KINGSTON vs. RICKY STEAMBOAT
I don’t think it’s too crazy to say that Kofi may be this generation’s Steamboat. Others would argue a D-Bry or someone else, but when you look at the career track it’s pretty fair to think otherwise. Steamboat was an amazing wrestler and a great face. He put on great matches with great wrestlers, but he didn’t really get into the main event scene. This is where Kofi, sadly, is right now. He puts on great matches with great wrestlers, but he just doesn’t get a shot. I think these guys would have something to prove and would do their damnedest to steal the show.
(ONE) RAVEN vs. BRAY WYATT
This match wouldn’t be pretty and would not be a workrate classic. What interests me is the promos and storyline they’d come up with to make this battle of the cult leaders come to life. They are both such different characters from different worlds, but their manipulative confidence is what makes their characters so dangerous. One thing that instantly comes to mind is the crazy story of them manipulating people into joining their crews. The back and forth had so much potential and could result in madness.
