(FOUR) THE ROCK/MANKIND
The “Rock and Sock Connection” were an awesome team for a while. People act like they were together for a long time, but it was basically an excuse to add fuel to their fire for a great and brutal feud. Still, they provided some great moments. They had great chemistry and were pretty much the exact opposites. They also were responsible for one of the most successful segments in RAW history with the whole “This is your life” promo. It’s crazy that these two had so much fun together as a team and then were so destructive to each other as rivals.
(THREE) AL SNOW/STEVE BLACKMAN
“Head Cheese” has to be the best name ever for a tag team. Al Snow was doing his crazy backwards “Help Me” on his forehead, carrying a mannequin head around to talk to, and just being off his rocker in general. Meanwhile, Steve Blackman was void of personality and was a martial arts type of wrestler who swung around sticks for some reason. Their chemistry was great because there clearly was none. Sometimes that is just as entertaining.
(TWO) DANIEL BRYAN/KANE
This one is probably the favorite of most people. The whole “Team Hell No” thing was great. It was fun to see Kane reinvent himself for the millionth time with a really fun and successful run with Daniel Bryan. D-Bry has wrestled some of the best in the company and has been involved in the main event, but I think it’s pretty fair to say his work with Kane is what got him through the mid-card glass ceiling. My only gripe with this team is that their break up should have involved a heated feud.
(ONE) BOOKER T/GOLDDUST
This team was GREAT. Booker T was just getting into his comedic groove and Goldy was doing a crazy character. Well, crazier than normal. He got electrocuted and had a stuttering problem and some sort of turrets type of thing going on. It would give Booker a chance to drop his “tell me you didn’t just say that” line. Then they had their moments with the spinorooni. Not to mention they worked great together in the ring.
