(FOUR) CHRISTIAN
I’m not a big fan of Christian. He may be the biggest let down in my wrestling fandom. I was a fan of Edge and Christian as a team and the point in his career when he was a heel with a “Peeps” following. There was some magic in those few months to a year or so. Captain Charisma was on fire and was believably a main event threat. Then he left for TNA and like a deflated balloon lost his mojo. As time went on, he just lost me more and more. But hey! He’s been in six TLC matches! Six!
(THREE) KANE
Kane won a Tag Team TLC Match against Christian and Jericho, The Dudley Boyz, and Jeff Hardy and RVD…. By himself! It was a RAW from 2002, but it was a crazy memory none the less. He lost to Edge in a match with Alberto and Rey Mysterio at the TLC PPV 2010 that was really underrated and then he was recently involved with the The Shield vs. him, Daniel Bryan, and Ryback in 2012. He is a big guy, but it works for him. He takes crazy spots, helps people stay as safe as they can in a match like this, he’s creative, and he’s doing cool things on his own. You can tell he’s up for anything.
(TWO) JEFF HARDY
People say this is “his match”, but it’s not. He was in the original Tag Team matches that blew everyone’s mind and he’s taken on the likes of CM Punk in TLC matches. But believe it or not, he has NEVER won a TLC match. It’s strange to consider, but it’s okay. He provided some really big moments during these matches and people are always going to associate to the two together.
(ONE) EDGE
No one in the WWE has ever been in as many TLC matches as Edge. He pretty much made the match famous. He was part of the iconic original Tag Team TLC matches, but once all of those guys moved on he would pretty much carry the match on by himself, except for a few Jeffro Hardy spots, on his own. He would take on anyone in a match like this. I fondly recall his TLC match with Ric Flair on RAW years back. It was just so bizarre. Edge was at home in a match like this. He has the most TLC matches, the most wins in TLC matches, but not the most losses. His track record and highlight reel speaks for itself.
