"4 Most Annoying NFL Players"
10/16/10
BY MICHAEL GOODPASTER

(FOUR) TERRELL OWENS
He’s a great talent, but he’s a bit of weirdo. I find myself amused and annoyed by T.O. at the same time. He’s one of the few whose loud mouth and personality is actually backed up on the field. He’s done so much that it’s hard to list so I’m going with the most recent. It’s been reported that Owens has been fined by the NFL for tweeting “too close” to kick off. They pick on him, but he probably deserves it.

(THREE) CHAD OCHOCINCO
He changed his name to his jersey number in Spanish, but made it one word… because he’s nuts! He’s become a celebrity of sorts. His antics get him more love than his work on the field. He’s one of the best receivers in the league right now, but I’m pretty sure your little sister could shine on the Bengals though. He’s on covers of video games, magazines, did Dancing with the Stars, hosted RAW, and had his own reality show. If he wants to be a super star, he needs to be on a super star team. I’m thinking he should have followed LeBron and got out of Ohio.

(TWO) RANDY MOSS
You can’t argue with a man wanting to make money. I heard the quote on Entourage and it works here too… “How many yachts can you jetski behind?” Since pretty much day one, Moss has been all about the money. It’s safe to say that he has made enough money to keep his grandkids in Prada. The man kicks ass, but plays with the passion of snail on prozak. All we hear about is his contract disputes, controversies, and constant bullshit. Remember when he was young, good, and his talent was still talked about SLIGHTLY more than the bullshit?

(ONE) BRETT FAVRE
Brett Favre has more records than The Beatles, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s the biggest drama queen in all of sports. He has his controversial stuff with past addiction and recent scandal, but that’s not really the problem. LeBron had his big “Decision 201” thing and it was an embarrassment. Favre takes it down about half a level, but he does it EVERY YEAR. He’s old and beaten up, but is still awesome on the field. But never the less, we’re forced to waste months of life waiting on him to make a decision on if he’s going to come back and play at the age of fifty three or how ever old he is. He’s a living cliché and the NFL, fans, and his family is responsible. He’s been built up as “one of the greatest of all time”, but no matter how battered and beaten up he is he just can’t let it go. Do you not think he’s limping, sore, pilling up, icing up, and getting shots every week just to lose to the Rams? I would hope not, but it’s hard not to believe that. We’ve seen so many old athletes hang it up too late and become depressing displays of humanity in their later years. Favre’s later years are here. And the one thing that bothers me most is that he’s held on such a high pedestal but still has the record for most interceptions… ever. Go away!
