The cause is simple. Provide a better life for children.
No one asked to come into this world. We were all made and incubated into this world, so those precious innocent years should be something of comfort – not neglect – before we have to get aboard the roller coaster o’ life.
The greater hope foundation is an organization dedicated to such a mission!
“Since opening in 2002, we have been dedicated to providing services to children in need. We serve children ages newborn to 18 who have suffered from neglect, abuse, and abandonment, or children whose families are experiencing some type of family crisis like the death of a parent, divorce, illness, violence, homelessness, parental alcohol and drug abuse, and other issues which threaten family stability.”
Greater hope is a non-profit organization providing monetary, educational, physical, emotional, social, etc means of helping less privileged children experience a happy life.
In addition to tutoring & psychiatry services greater hope foundation links children with foster parents & families so every child will get to know what “family” means.
In this short but sweet blog, just think about all the warm happy family memories you have – not the dysfunctional family thanksgiving when aunt Debbie said the “F---“ word and punted the turkey or the Christmas Grandpa Wilson was drunk & lit the tree on fire… the kind where mommy tucked you in & all the cares of the world melted away or when your entire family was there to cheer you on from the sidelines of the championship game… now think about how sad it would be to not have those memories. They are treasures that are short lived but forever remembered. Don’t be the dick that steals that from a child.

You will be glad you did – so will the child whose life you’ve changed.
