Kick-Ass 2 might end up being the best movie of the summer. I really enjoyed the first one. A lot of people caught on after the fact, but it’s a really great action movie. It’s not too cheesy or lame like some superhero movies and it’s funny, but not stupid. It had a great story, a great tone set in place, awesome casting, and plenty more roads to travel. This time out, Kick-Ass inspires a whole slew of others to become masked heroes. This gives us Jim Carrey, Donald Faison, Clark Duke, and others all putting on costumes and fighting bad guys. The stuff we’ve seen with Jim Carrey looks to be awesome. Of course Kick-Ass is back as well as the other surviving characters. You need to have THREE names in order to be a star in this franchise. Aaron Taylor-Johnson takes the lead and is awesome in the role. We also get Christopher Mintz-Plasse in the evil villain role. Best of all Hit-Girl returns and we get to see Chloe Grace Moretz say the word “cocksucker”. What more do you need?
