I was a Rock fan since his debut at Survivor Series some years back (Back me up on this one, smarkys). I've been a fan of Madison Pettis since I was forced to watch "Cory in the House" on Disney by younger relatives. However, I've not been too into Rock's movies. All of his vehicles seem to be either PG action or G family stuff. He had so much edge in wrestling that I think he could pull off a legitimate R role. It's really not about ratings to me, but it's just a matter of me knowing he can REALLY act and do something outside of the fluffy stuff he's been doing. I still wanna see "Southland Tales", so there is hope. Please note, I'm NOT saying what he's done so far is garbage. It's just not my cup of tea. Anyways, I went into this movie expecting exactly what I got. It was clich', cute, heart warming, and not a bad way to spend two hours at all. If you have kids in your life, watch it with them. If you don't and still are a kid at heart give it a whirl on a lazy afternoon. In either case, I don't think you'd be disappointed. If you are, then you probably shouldn't of watched it to begin with, you cynical dick bag.
