Over the weekend I saw the 2006 Will Smith film and was very impressed. It proves that Will can act without aliens and obscure blockbuster gimmicks around him. In the same vein as Jim Carrey he's maturing in his roles and proving himself as a legitimate actor. I've always been a fan of both him acting and music, but this single film earned him more credibility and shows tons of true potential. Outside of a few others (like Ali), Smith has gotten by on his charisma and potential acting ability. But now that potential is shining and ready to go new places. I'm going to love to have the chance to watch his career evolve.
