I've seen Doug Benson on the VH1 "Best Week Ever Shows" and probably on the "I Love The…" series. I'm not sure about the last one, but all of those comedians and sarcastic blogger people all sorta blend together. I don't remember disliking the guy, so he must not have annoyed me too much. Anyways, this was a parody documentary of the doc about fast food called "Super Size Me". He spoofs the concept of eating nothing but McDonalds for 30 days with doing nothing but smoke pot for 30 days. He's already a pot smoker so he takes 30 days off and then goes crazy with 30 days of fun. It was nothing special. I have and know people who have gone a lot longer than 30 days being high as hell. Big deal. What made this slightly interesting was the pre and post testing of being "clean" and "high". Among a few random tests we find out that Doug has more psychic powers while high than clean. What makes it slightly entertaining was Doug's story. He's a stand up comedian who is a pothead. When he gets off it, depression and boredom sets in. He's a nice enough guy, but the whole thing does seem a bit self indulgent. I don't think that's intentional, but I think this idea would have been better with someone like David Cross, Sarah Silverman, or someone I don't see on VH1 every week. If you're a stoner and like VH1, by all means give this a view. If you're not a pothead, you probably already stopped reading this. So with that, I want to get off my chest that I'm the one who burnt your back passenger's seat. My bad. Anyways, yeah. I recommend this movie, but with caution that it won't be as good as you were hoping.
