I really had no desire to see this movie in the theatre and apparently I wasn't the only one. However, I was still curious to see it on DVD and apparently, again, I wasn't the only one. Flat out, the movie is very entertaining. It's a throw back action movie that we've not really seen since the glory days of Arnold, Van Dam, or even Steven Segal. The plot was exactly what you think it is. It's the world's worst criminals stuck on an island to fight to the death until one man or woman is the final victor. That person would then be freed and given some money. The characters are over the top and Austin is perfect as the quiet bad ass character. Since I've seen this movie I've been recommending it to friends to watch as some good mindless entertainment only to be looked upon as a weirdo or joking. I kid you not, this is a fun movie. It's not Citizen Kane or even Terminator 2 for that matter, but it's a fine movie to catch on DVD and watch with a few friends. Again, I'm not kidding!
