"TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES"
10/19/10
BY MIKEY MIGO

The second sequel to The Terminator was probably the weakest of the four movies. That said, I still enjoyed it. I saw it when it was first released and was kind of let down by it. It just didn’t click with me as much as the first two did and I’m not a fan of Nick Stahl. In this one we have a new bad Terminator sent back by the evil robots called “T-X”. The T-X is played by the very hot Kristanna Loken. She plays the relentless robot perfectly. On the other side, Arnold Schwarzenegger returns to save the day. This time the mission is to protect John Connor and Kate Brewster from T-X and the pending Judgment Day. In the first we saw the evil robot go after Sarah Connor, then in part two it was a young John Connor, and now in this one it’s John, Kate, and the other future generals of the “Resistance”. The movie is a cat and mouse chase between T-X and Arnold-bot and it’s a good one. The action in this movie is nonstop and a good time, but the plot is a bit weak in comparison to the multiple layers of awesomeness that was the first two. I understand that within the story being told that this movie’s plot kind of HAD to happen, but it just felt kind of rushed and lame. I think that lack of depth and Nick Stahl’s bad acting put this one down compared to the others. Terminator Salvation was a much better movie than this one, but sadly I think it was lost in the shuffle partly because people were so soured on the Terminator franchise after getting a whiff of this.
