I like Seth Rogen. He’s a cool dude and I’m pretty much always entertained by his performances. I was a little left out on this one. I’ve managed to never see any footage or know anything about the movie other than a few facts. I never watched the show and don’t know the premise. I know Bruce Lee was on the show, but that’s about it. I saw a TV trailer for the movie that had Rogen and the guy I assume is playing Lee’s role rocking out to Coolio’s “Gangsta Paradise” in the car. That itself is enough to get me curious… nay excited as shit about a movie. What can I say, I’m an easy mark when it comes to Coolio references. I still don’t know much about the mythos that goes with this character. Was it just a TV show? Was there a comic book? I don’t know anything about “The Green Hornet” and I’m okay with that. I still want to see this movie. Rogen lost a lot of weight for the role and to see him branch out into a superhero, abet a comedic one, but still. I was iffy before and now I’m strongly curious. Then I come to find out that it’s in 3D. I don’t know why by the idea of seeing this movie in 3D makes it all that much cooler. I have a feeling this movie is going to be a sleeper, but I’m a little worried with its release date. It’s historically known that most companies drop their shit projects out during the first part of the first quarter every year. Then again, it could have just been a scheduling issue because of delays, 3D stuff, or what have you. Who knows? I just know the trailer has me interested. Who’s in?
