I used to care a lot about Survivor Series. Now I don’t. I don’t know what happened, but the WWE got extremely weird. It’s almost on a “good TNA” level lately, which is not very good. I’m curious about some developments and how things will unfold and I really like the talent and some of the match-ups we get, but I’m just not engaged or hooked. I don’t care if I miss RAW or Smackdown anymore. If I miss it, I miss it. Odds are I missed one or two really good matches that week, but I also missed like seven hours of filler and disappointment. Never the less, over the past two weeks I’ve attempted to pay attention to what’s going on and I’m really not impressed. I WILL watch this pay per view, but it won’t be live and it’s not going to cost me a penny.
It’s cool The Miz turned on Kofi because both of these guys needed something to do. They weren’t a good team, but they had tons of decent matches over midcard belts for years. It won’t turn the world on fire, but it could jump start something for both of these guys. They are most likely the two most underutilized dudes on the roster. It’s fresh so the heel wins, The Miz.
I don’t care about the divas tag team match. I’m not a sexist and I can appreciate women’s wrestling and performing, but I’ve not seen anything from the divas that gets my attention in a long time. I will most likely skip this match, but I’m going to say the heel divas win.
The two title matches suck. I like Randy Orton and Big Show, but putting them together is one of the most least appealing main event matches they could possibly put together. I like Alberto Del Rio, but his chemistry with Cena isn’t appealing to me. These matches are far from exciting and there are really no possible outcomes that will make me give a shit. I’m going to go out on a lump and just say that both champions retain their belts.
The Punk/Bryan vs. theWyatt Family match is interesting and will probably be the best on the card. I want to say the Wyatt’s win and get a bigger push, but Punk and Bryan need the easy glory moment so I’m going with them. Punk/Bryan. The only other match that could give it a run for it’s money involves the Usos so there’s only a very slim change. I’m talking about the “Traditional Survivor Series Match”. It’s The Sheild and the Real Americans taking on Cody, Golddust, The Usos, and the returning Rey rey. I think the Real Americans and The Usos pretty much cancel each other out so that leaves a much more appealing Cody, Goldy, and Mysterio vs. The Shield. The brothers Rhodes are on fire and Mysterio is JUST returning, but The Shield need to get their heat back. I’m going to say Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns survive.
We’ll see…
