If you adjust a little, it works and you can still hear some commentary, the crowd, and the bump sounds. This is a horror of dealing with old VHS tapes. I suppose it’s good that I’m transferring these over to some form of digital copy before these tapes turn to ash or something. Sorry about that, but it’s still definitely worth checking out. *)
Some matches just don’t make sense on paper, but just feels right. This is one of those matches. The Lost Boys were supposed to defend the Tag Titles against someone that night, but I assume there was a no-show or something like that. That was typically the case. Hiztory stepped in and fought them BOTH. They had a blast out there. They turned it into a hardcore garbage match. I remember loving this match when it happened because it was just so silly and fun. A lot of it made me cringe and a lot of it made me laugh. It was like a train wreck, if the train was a circus train. There is a lot of really cool spots in this match. I’m a big fan of the double drop kick spot in particular. Watching it nine years later and probably for the first time in at least six or seven years it legitimately made me “mark out”. Cool moment. Entertaining match.
