The “Random Rampage of Doom” was something I insisted we keep doing. We did it at the first Wrestlfest to crown the North American Title. The rules are weird. We booked three random wrestlers against three random wrestlers. The winning team would face each other later in the night. This match isn’t that great, but I like it for a few reasons. It was the MEW debut of Shaun Ebner(“Thunderpants” at the time), debut of Whipme Spears, and one of the only wrestling appearances that Big Don made. The crowd didn’t know what to expect when they saw Whipme, but the dude/lady certainly entertained. Johnny Mac was solid, Ebner got on the roster for good, and some of the interactions in this rock. Stryc 9 and Tristin Hayze get a little ring time together, which is always a great thing in my book and in MEW’s history. And the finish is completely missed. I’m pretty sure Hayze hit the super kick on Ebner. Then at the end, Johnny Mac beats up both his partners to weaken them down for their match later that night.
