If you adjust a little, it works and you can still hear some commentary, the crowd, and the bump sounds. This is a horror of dealing with old VHS tapes. I suppose it’s good that I’m transferring these over to some form of digital copy before these tapes turn to ash or something. Sorry about that, but it’s still definitely worth checking out. *)
This mini-feud still blows my mind. Stryc 9’s first show with MEW was the second show where he showed up with the Karnival Kliq. They were fighting Eddie Jacobs and Hiztory and it ended with Jacobs diving off a fifteen feet balcony area onto everyone. From there an Eddie Jacobs/Stryc 9 rivalry spontaneously occurred. In retrospect it’s crazy, but it wasn’t THAT bad. It gave them both something to do before going their separate ways. Stryc 9 would go on to win the MEW World Enterprise Title in 2003 and Eddie Jacobs would fade off into obscurity. He was just harder to work with than most of the other “green boys”. We worked together on a character at start and he wanted no part of it come show day. He didn’t like the character, the name, the music picked for him, wearing legit gear, training, or really anything other than working the Juggalo crowd. Others from back then have issues with the guy, but I always thought he and I got along well enough. He just didn’t have the drive as others did. This match was fun though.
