I don’t recall MEW ever having another “Lumberjack” Match besides this one. We see Sabbath defending the Maniak Title against the always entertaining and “controversial” Whipme Spears. Outside the ring I spot “The Vanilla Shakes”, Big Don, Justin Vega, Grim Reaper, Alto, Scott Powers, Morganna, Slappy! The Clown, and Johnny Showtime. The entertaining aspect of Whipme Spears is that a character like that will obviously be hated like mad at a wrestling show. Wrestling fans are, for lack of better terms, not always the most acceptant of other cultures and life styles. Whipme, a drag queen take on Britney Spears, was fun to work with. He/She was a pretty good wrestler too, which was just icing on the cake. I find myself laughing at the camera guy in this one. He is obviously getting angry and annoyed with the wrestlers and one time and hear him mutter “assholes”. Granted a better camera angle would have been nice, but there’s nothing you can do about wrestlers being in your way for a “lumberjack match”. This match was pretty decent and was a good back and forth little match. The crowd loved seeing Whipme get beat up by the lumberjacks, cheered Sabbath when he put Whipme down, and despite it being about 2 or 3 minutes too long, it was enjoyable and very watchable match.
