Before this match could happen, MEW’s senior ref Bryan Johnson was bringing the crowd back from intermission with his great lip syncing abilities. His work wasn’t loved by everyone. Enter Whipme Spears, who debuted earlier that night. Whipme would provide the crowd with a very enthusiastic rendition of a Cher song. Thankfully, the true voice… the ONLY voice of MEW, Cameron Vance entered the ring and broke this madness up.
Soon after it would be Whipme Spears taking on Johnny Mac and Tristin Hayze in a Three Way Elimination Match. Earlier in the night they were part of the “RANDOM RAMPAGE OF DOOM” in which they were teamed up against another random group of wrestlers. As being the winners in that match they were booked in this 3-Way to crowd the winner of the annual event. This match was fun because it was just an odd combination of wrestlers. All three are entertaining and talented at what they do in their own right, but this combo was like oil, water, and tears. Johnny Mac seemed to mainly work the crowd, Hayze put an effort in, and Whipme was left to mediate. I really don’t know what to say about this match. The crowd is dead, but it’s not completely bad. It’s just like 4 or 5 minutes too long. It’s kind of like flipping through the channels late at night and you come across “WTF” worthy infomercial. You’re never going to buy the product and you’ll forget it the next day, but you just gaze at it and find yourself waiting longer than you expected because you’re just sure the price is 3 payments of $19.99. Even if you’re right, there’s no excuse for the time wasted. Enjoy!
