If you adjust a little, it works and you can still hear some commentary, the crowd, and the bump sounds. This is a horror of dealing with old VHS tapes. I suppose it’s good that I’m transferring these over to some form of digital copy before these tapes turn to ash or something. Sorry about that, but it’s still definitely worth checking out. *)
I can almost guarantee if I search through old papers that the format of this show had this match listed at eight to ten minutes TOPS. It went longer and it was really drawn out. It’s not that it’s a bad match. It’s solid and well crafted, but the crowd doesn’t seem to care nearly as much as the two performers seem to think. I enjoyed the arm wrestling segments, the finish was solid, and JJ Drake showed tons of promise. I would have just cut this down by like 3 minutes based on crowd response and card spot, which was mid card.
